Open Letter to the United Earth Congress from Will “Mac” MacBride, CEO of Promethean

Friends,

Please understand that as the name implies, the PHC is a Coalition. A group of individuals. It’s not a government. The situation with the Moon is bad. But it is more complicated than it seems.

For the past several years, there’s been a war occurring off-world between the PHC and Haalee and her agents which we collectively call the Substrate since they convert entire planets into Turinium. Our existence is based on access to Turinium. Losing a world is like losing a limb. It is debilitating. When one of our group lost a world, they, regrettably, decided they needed to convert the Moon to overcome the disability. We don’t like it and we are working it out with them.

But that doesn’t give the governments of Earth the right to steal property we legally acquired. For instance, I had nothing to do with the transformation of the Moon. And yet the government tried to seize the Promethean compound in Arizona. You know, one that manufactures Turinium inside Pebbles that most of you have in your pockets right now.

We will defend our rights. And we will find a way to solve this. I promise you.
